Torrevieja: The solicitor for John George’s family has shared some important news. Two people have been summoned to court in Spain related to his murder.

John, a father of two from West Belfast, went missing in mid-December. Sadly, his body was found earlier this month.

The two men are expected to appear in a preliminary court sitting in Torrevieja this Friday. Family solicitor Kevin Winters confirmed this information.

Winters stated that the summonses were issued for these individuals to answer questions about John’s murder. They were originally scheduled to appear on January 29 but will now be in court on February 1.

The family is anxious to hear what these individuals will say. This news comes just before John’s funeral, making it a sensitive time for his loved ones.

John’s funeral service was initially set for January 24 but was postponed for a second autopsy. It is now scheduled for February 1 at St Luke’s Twinbrook at 9 am.
