A man was arrested for arson after a serious house fire in Dungannon, Co Tyrone. Four people were rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Dungannon: A man was arrested for arson after a serious house fire. The fire happened on Cunninghams Lane on February 3. Four people were rescued from the house.

Two women, aged 37 and 70, are in critical condition. Two children, aged 7 and 10, are stable. Eight police officers were also treated for smoke inhalation.

Police arrived quickly after the fire service reported the blaze. They used ladders to rescue the trapped residents. A 21-year-old man was found on the roof and arrested.

The fire caused extensive damage. The fire service worked hard to put it out. The police thanked the community for their support during this traumatic event.
