The Fife Arms in Braemar is known for its luxury. Recently, it made headlines again for this outrageous tab. Guests shared their receipt online, and it went viral.
They spent a staggering £158,914 on whisky alone! Can you believe it? The bill included £67,500 for Balvenie 50-year-old whisky, priced at £4,500 a dram.
They also ordered £40,000 worth of Laphroaig from the 1940s, costing £4,000 each. Glenlivet G&M 1943 was another pricey choice, totaling £12,750 at £850 each.
