Aberdeen: The Spectra Festival is back, and it’s going to be amazing! This year, it features an award-winning Scottish artist and the talented Johanna Basford.

The festival will light up the city from February 6 to 9. Expect a 50-metre sensory walkway and a stunning illuminated fungal network. There’s so much to see and do!

You’ll find 15 incredible light installations and performances from dancers and musicians. Plus, the iconic ‘Hollywood letters’ will have a special design just for the festival.

Johanna Basford will have a giant interactive coloring wall in Union Terrace Gardens. You can color her designs, and they’ll glow under neon lights. How cool is that?

Council Baby, a rising star in the art world, has created a new video installation for the festival. It’s called ‘Fit D’You Know About the Bon Accord?’ and it showcases Aberdeen’s rich history.

The festival is all about community, too. Local schools and groups will display their artwork, and there will be storytelling sessions featuring traditional Scottish tales.

With so much happening, it’s a great chance to explore the city and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event that brings everyone together!
