Hey, guess what? Weather folks say it’ll snow next week. Most of the UK will see a white Valentine’s Day.

Wales and Northern Ireland get snow early, they say. Then, it moves to the East Midlands, so expect some. Northern England and Scotland also get snow. Only two areas stay snow-free.

East Anglia and southern England will be lucky. Think Berkshire to Wiltshire. Scotland’s Highlands will see the most snow–nine cm. Now, other experts weighed in on the forecast.

They see a persistent high-pressure system. This blocks Atlantic storms from arriving quickly. Next week, the weather should be mostly dry overall. Eastern regions might see some rain from the North Sea.

Western and southwestern areas could see more. They think cold air from Europe is limited. Easterly winds might blow sometimes. This gives a small chance of big snowstorms.

Even without a big storm, expect scattered wintry showers. High ground will likely get a bit of snow. Eastern and southern areas become cloudy. Western regions, like Scotland, will get sun often.

Southwestern spots could see snow by the week’s end. However, this forecast is still uncertain.
