Aberdeen: A vacant spot on Union Street might soon get a makeover. Plans are in for a new takeaway called ‘Taste N’ Fusion’. This place would serve pizza, kebabs, burgers, and chips.

The unit at 92 Union Street has been empty since 2017. It used to be a Vodafone store before closing down. It’s right in the heart of the city, between St Nicholas Street and Correction Wynd.

The idea is to breathe new life into this space. It’s been sitting unused for too long, and we don’t want it to become an eyesore. The takeaway would not only offer more dining choices but also create jobs and help the local economy.

If the city council gives the green light, it could be a win-win for everyone. There’s a growing need for takeaways, and this could help keep the city lively.

Plus, Union Street has seen some new food spots lately, like Popeyes and German Doner Kebab. So, it seems like the right time for another addition.

The council will review the application soon. What do you think? Does Union Street need more takeaways? Let us know your thoughts!
