A 44-year-old man faces charges for several car thefts in Aberdeen. Police urge drivers to secure their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
Aberdeen: A man has been arrested for stealing cars in the city. Police say he took several vehicles in the Hilton and Kittybrewster areas.
The thefts happened between January 31 and February 2. Cars parked on Cattofiled Place, Picktillum Avenue, Sunnyside Road, and Belmont Road were targeted.
The 44-year-old will appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court today. Police are reminding everyone to lock their cars and hide valuables.
Detective Constable Fergus Anderson emphasized the importance of vehicle security. Always lock your car, even for a short time, and keep valuables out of sight.
