Aoibheann Walsh, a contestant on BBC’s Apprentice, is the sister of a hero who saved a baby from a tragic car accident in Donegal back in 2016
Donegal: Aoibheann Walsh is making waves as a contestant on BBC’s Apprentice. But there’s more to her story. Her brother, Davitt, is a real-life hero.
Back in March 2016, Davitt jumped into icy waters at Buncrana Pier. A family’s car had plunged into the water, and he didn’t hesitate to save a baby girl. Sadly, five family members lost their lives that day.
Davitt rescued little Rioghnach-Ann McGrotty, who was just four months old. His bravery earned him a Gold Medal for Marine Gallantry. His family praised him for his courage during that tragic event.
Aoibheann, who runs a beauty salon in Letterkenny, is thrilled to be on the show. She was chosen from 80,000 applicants! She shared her excitement on Facebook, saying she couldn’t believe she made it.
She’s also working on a patented product called SashSo, hoping for Lord Sugar’s investment. Aoibheann has already achieved a lot in her career, winning awards for her beauty business.
The new season of The Apprentice kicks off on January 30. Fans are eager to see how she does. With her family’s support and her determination, she’s ready to shine!
