This weekend, Northern Ireland’s primary school kids will get their transfer test results online. Here’s how to access them without a hitch.
Belfast: This weekend, thousands of primary school kids in Northern Ireland will find out their transfer test results. The SEAG test happened last November, with two papers taken on separate Saturdays.
Each paper had questions in English and math, mixing multiple choice and open-ended formats. Kids who speak Irish could take the test in Gaeilge, which is pretty cool.
Before SEAG, kids had to take the AQE and GL tests. But those are now history, replaced by the SEAG tests last year.
On Saturday, January 25, the results will help kids figure out which secondary school they’ll attend. All 63 post-primary schools in Northern Ireland that use academic criteria for Year 8 admissions are part of SEAG.
So, how do you get the results? Just head to seagni.co.uk. Log into your dashboard, and you’ll find the results in the “Statement of Outcomes” section. SEAG aims to have everything ready by 8 am.
The results reflect your child’s overall performance across both papers. The key scores that schools will look at are the Total Standardised Age Score (TSAS) and the Band.
