Ellon: Emergency services quickly responded to a fire in an electrical manhole. This happened on Bridge Street, causing the area to close for several hours.

Firefighters arrived around 7:30 AM on Sunday, February 2, after receiving reports of the fire. Police were also on the scene to help manage traffic while the fire crews worked.

The road was blocked off for safety, but thankfully, there were no injuries reported. Once the fire was out, the road was reopened.

A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were alerted at 7:36 AM. They sent two fire engines to handle the situation and ensured everything was safe before leaving.
