Belfast: Exciting news for students! If you love adventure and fitness, listen up. You can apply for a unique obstacle race in Ibiza. It’s called the Red Bull Ibiza Royale, and it’s happening this April.

This is the first time they’re hosting this event. Teams of two will compete, and they’re looking for 250 mixed pairs from over 50 countries. How cool is that?

The race runs from April 11 to 14. Selected teams will enjoy a four-day adventure on the beautiful island. You’ll tackle obstacles created by Red Bull athletes while racing to the top of Ibiza Castle.

The course is 1.4 kilometers long and designed to challenge both your body and mind. Each obstacle tests different skills like speed, strength, and balance. Some obstacles are made by famous athletes, including Danish champ Ida Mathilde Steensgaard and Canadian snowboarding legend Seb Toots.

Applications are open now until March 13. So, if you want to be part of this, get your team together! The competition kicks off on April 11, with qualifiers leading up to the Grand Final on April 13.

To sign up, find a friend to form a two-person team. You need one guy and one girl. Don’t worry about your fitness level; just be ready to run that uphill course and have fun!

Next, complete a qualifying challenge at your college or online. There are several in-person events across Ireland, or you can do it online at www.redbull.ie/ibizaroyale.

After that, submit a short video showing why you should be chosen. Keep it under 60 seconds and make it fun! They want to see your energy and creativity.

So, get ready! The 250 teams that will compete in Ibiza will be announced soon. Don’t miss your chance to be one of them. Check out www.redbull.ie/ibizaroyale for all the details and make sure to submit everything by March 13, 2025.
