Good news! They will close at different times. This way, you still have other spots for recycling. Park Road closes from February 16 to March 9. Afterward, Palmerston closes from March 9 to March 31.
The recycling areas need fixing. Concrete surfaces where they keep skips are damaged. This is a safety issue for workers, and the repairs will prevent bigger problems later. Ignoring it could mean permanent closures.
Weather might change the schedule. The council will post updates online and put signs at the closed centers. They can’t do temporary recycling spots, so you will have to use other Belfast centers.
