The homeowner found the damage when he returned home. Paint was thrown on the wall, and a racist word was written on the brick.

Inspector Jackson said the incident likely happened between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. They are treating it as a hate crime.

Jackson emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home. The community in West Belfast will not tolerate this attack.

Sinn Féin councillor Ciaran Beattie spoke out against the graffiti. He said it does not represent the Beechmount community.
