Aberdeenshire: A road has reopened after a serious crash. It happened this afternoon, and two people were taken to the hospital in Dundee.

The one-car accident occurred around 12:20 PM on the B9120, which connects Laurencekirk to Fettercairn. Police had to close the road in both directions. They advised drivers to find alternate routes to avoid delays.

The driver, 24, and a 37-year-old passenger were taken to Ninewells Hospital. Thankfully, their injuries aren’t life-threatening. The road was back open by about 3:55 PM.

Police confirmed the B9120 is now clear for traffic. They also mentioned that the Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for more details.
