Aberdeen: Superdry is closing its store at Union Square. This is another hit for the shopping center.

Earlier this year, Fat Face shut down, and Hollister also announced its exit. Shoppers are feeling the impact.

Superdry has been at Union Square since 2009. Now, signs suggest they might be relocating, with a 30% sale on everything.

This closure is part of a larger plan. Superdry is shutting down more stores across the UK.

The nearest Superdry stores are in Inverness and Stirling, making it a long trip for local shoppers.

There are also locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the Designer Outlet in Livingston.

However, the Union Square space might not stay empty for long. A building warrant has been submitted for renovations.

Monahan’s, based in Sheffield, plans to spend £500,000 on the refit. What will replace Superdry is still unknown.
