Aberdeen: Plans are in the works for a new gym in the Bridge of Don area. The proposal aims to convert the Innovation Centre at Aberdeen Energy Park into a fitness facility.

The Innovation Centre, located on Exploration Drive, spans 14,000 square feet. It will feature high ceilings, a glass-roof atrium, and modern workout equipment. The gym will also offer classes and training spaces.

With ample parking and good transport links, the gym hopes to attract local residents and professionals from the business park. This development follows the demolition of the old Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Bridge of Don is seeing a surge in new housing, with nearly 900 homes either being built or planned. This growth increases the demand for quality leisure facilities in the area.

Gordon Pirie, Asset Manager at Aberdeen Energy & Innovation Parks, noted the need for high-quality leisure options. He believes this gym will benefit both residents and the business community.

Interested gym operators can reach out to Gordon Pirie to discuss this opportunity. Stay updated on Aberdeen news by signing up for the free newsletter.
