A 27-year-old man faces charges after police seized £70,000 worth of drugs in Macduff, including a large cannabis cultivation operation.
Officers went to a property on Skene Street around 10:30 AM on January 18. They discovered a lot of cannabis plants, valued at about £64,800.
They also seized dried cannabis worth between £5,000 and £6,000. The man appeared in Aberdeen Sheriff Court on January 20, and investigations are still ongoing.
Sergeant Barry Riddoch mentioned that drugs bring trouble to communities. He encouraged the public to report any concerns about illegal drugs.
