FOBS Hope you all had a super Easter break. Thank you to everyone who has kindly agreed to help at the May Fair on Saturday 13 May 2017.  This is our biggest and last fundraiser of this academic year!!  Thank you to all parents running stalls - you should know that the Fair starts at 12 noon and so it would be great if you could arrive by 11 - 11.30am to set up your stall, collect your float etc. Please park in the parking field not outside school.  Please return any sold/unsold Grand Prize Draw tickets to either school office, Daisy, Liz or Kate before the big day. Please note that we urgently need the following if you can kindly spare:  Cakes, cakes and more cakes - for the cake stall and to sell with the cream tea/refreshments for adults/children to purchase on the day with a drink. As usual, bought cakes are always welcome too! Please drop to school hall on Friday 12th May.  Outgrown school uniform you no longer need for uniform stall - give to one of us beforehand  Any produce to sell i.e pickles, eggs, chutneys, jams, fruit and veg etc - drop to school hall on Friday 12th May.  Good condition books and toys - desperate for these - please give to one of us  Plants/Seeds/Flowers for the plant stall Friday 12th May outside school please or the day  Thanks everyone - this is our last fundraiser of the year to help top up our bank account as much as possible for the next academic year. Proceeds of this years May Fair will go towards the renovation of the library area / library books so thank you in advance. Many thanks to all of you who supported the Bingo and make this event happen! It was certainly a busy night and a great success raising £527. Hopefully this week in book bags you will receive 10 raffle tickets per child for our Grand Prize Draw for the May Fair. Please sell as many of these as you can to friends and family and return the money and ticket stubbs in an envelope to with school or any of the FOBS team before May 12th. The more we sell of these, the bigger profit we make before the event even starts. If you require more please just ask and if you can't sell them all don't worry, just ensure you return them to us before the big day to hopefully sell. Please see below dates for your diary: Thursday 20th April - Non Uniform Day - This is to source prizes for the May Fair - please can your child bring in an unused / unopened / within date prizes for either the grown ups tombola or the children's tombola or better still both!! This can be food, toiletries, gifts, new toys, new books etc This is our main source of accumulating prizes for both these stalls so thank you in advance. Please leave in the hall. May Fair Sat 12 May 12-3 - If you would like to help please let us know. Spread the word as it is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps to fund school trips, children's trophies, school & nursery equipment etc every year for all the children both at school and nursery. If you know any local businesses that would like to donate prizes for our Grand Prize Draw please speak to Liz, Kate or Daisy. If you have fresh stall ideas or would like to run an existing stall please do let us know ASAP. May Fair set up and take down - we will be putting up a marquee again this year - if you would like to help with set up on Friday 12th and also take down please do let us know.
